A Urologist. A Tile Set. A Name With a Wink.

I'm a urologist who specializes in men's health. When it came time to name a mahjong brand built for men, I wanted something memorable, confident, and just a little playful.

I'm a guy who got bitten by the mahjong bug — picked it up, loved the game immediately, and then looked at every set on the market and hated all of them. Every option looked like it belonged in a grandmother's living room or was designed for a teenage girl. Floral patterns, pastel cases, tiles that felt designed for anyone but me.

I looked around at my patients and my friends — men who take their hobbies seriously, who appreciate quality, who'd rather drink good bourbon than bad beer — and realized the market had completely ignored them. So I set out to make something better: MahDong, a name with a wink and a set built with real intention.

Mahjong is one of the oldest and most beloved games in the world. It's been played in back rooms, on cruise ships, in country clubs, and around kitchen tables for over a century. But somewhere along the way, the American market decided it was a women's game — and designed every set accordingly.

MahDong exists to fix that. Not by taking anything away from anyone — but by finally giving men a set that speaks their language. Five themes built around the things men actually talk about when they're sitting around a table together.
