Privacy Policy

How we use it. We use your information to process and ship orders, answer your questions, send order and shipping updates, send launch news and offers if you signed up, prevent fraud, measure which ads work, improve the Site, and meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Who we share it with. Only the service providers that help us run the store, and only what each one needs: website hosting, payment processing (which handles your card details directly), shipping carriers, our email service provider, and Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies and advertising. The Site uses essential cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working and remember your choices. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, and a Google Ads tag to learn whether our ads lead to signups or purchases. Google may use cookies to show you MahDong ads on other sites. These analytics and advertising tools stay off until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or close the banner, they stay off. To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies and data in your browser, and the banner will appear again. You can also manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Other companies, such as Google, may collect information about your online activity across sites over time when you use the Site.

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us. We will still send messages about orders you place.

Review, correct or delete your information. Email support@mahdongtiles.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to keep some records, such as order and tax records, where the law requires it.

California residents. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83). To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you have the right to know, correct and delete your personal information, to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, email us. We will verify your request by matching it to information we already have, such as your email and order number. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Other states. Residents of other states with privacy laws may make the same requests by emailing us.

Security. We use secure (HTTPS) connections, trusted payment processors, and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

How long we keep it. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to 7 years. We keep launch-list and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We delete or anonymize other information when we no longer need it.

Children. The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If we make a material change, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on the Site.
