Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern your use of mahdongtiles.com (the "Site") and every purchase you make from it. The Site is operated by MAHDONG TILES, LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company ("MahDong," "we," "us").

By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted on the Site when you place an order applies to that order.

Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we email you an order confirmation. Each run is produced in limited quantities, and additional runs are made based on demand. We may refuse or cancel any order (for example, for a pricing error, suspected fraud, or sold-out stock). If we cancel after charging you, we refund the full amount.

Prices. Prices are in U.S. dollars. The price shown for each product includes every mandatory fee we charge. Sales tax, where we are required to collect it, and any optional add-ons you choose are shown before you pay. Shipping within the United States is free unless the product page or checkout says otherwise.

Payment. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the total shown. We never see or store your full card number.

Pre-orders. Pre-ordering reserves your set before it is in stock. Your payment method is charged when you place the pre-order. Each set page shows an estimated ship-date range. You may cancel or change a pre-order within 48 hours of purchase. After that, your pre-order is final, except as described in the next paragraph.

If a pre-order is delayed. Your order is delayed if we cannot ship it by the latest date in the estimated ship-date range shown on the set page when you ordered (or within 30 days of your order, if no range was shown). If that happens, we will email you a revised ship date. You may then cancel for a full refund or keep your order. If we miss the revised date, we will cancel and refund you in full unless you agree to keep waiting. Refunds for cancelled pre-orders are issued within 7 days.

Shipping. We ship to addresses in the United States. In-stock items ship within 2 business days of your order. Pre-orders ship as described above. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order. If your order arrives damaged or never arrives, email support@mahdongtiles.com within 7 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date) and we will work with you to make it right.

Return window. We accept returns of full-priced items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Items must be unopened, in their original packaging, with all accessories included. Tiles must be sealed in their original shrink-wrap, with the dice pouch and dice included. Items bought with a promotional code are still eligible. Email support@mahdongtiles.com to start a return; we will send instructions.

Return shipping. If the item is defective, damaged, or we sent the wrong item, we pay return shipping. Otherwise, you pay return shipping.

Refunds. We refund to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.

Final-sale items. Reduced-price and sale items, and personalized or custom-engraved items, are final sale and cannot be returned. Final-sale items are clearly marked on the product page before you buy. This does not affect your rights if an item arrives damaged or defective.

Free gifts. Gifts included with a purchase (such as engraved coasters or glassware) have no cash value. If you return the purchase, you may keep the gift.

Cancelling or changing an order. You may cancel or change an order within 48 hours of purchase. Email support@mahdongtiles.com with your order number as soon as possible. After 48 hours, orders are final, except for your rights when a pre-order is delayed (Section 2), the return policy above, and damaged or defective items.

Gift cards. If we sell gift cards, they do not expire and carry no service or dormancy fees. Where state law requires (including California, for balances under $10), we will redeem a remaining balance in cash on request.

What's included. Every MahDong set includes the full run of custom-themed tiles, dice with a dice pouch, a matching custom playing mat, and a custom engraved wooden carry case with the MD logo.

Product descriptions. We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Tiles and mats are made in small batches, and cases are made of real wood, so grain, color, shading and engraving depth may vary from photos and from case to case. Those variations are part of the product, not defects.

Intended use. Intended for ages 18 and up. Our tile sets are game equipment for adults, not toys. Keep away from young children.

Damaged or defective items. If an item arrives damaged or is defective, email support@mahdongtiles.com within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right quickly, by replacement or refund. A defect you discover later is still covered to the extent the law provides, including the implied warranties under California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

Intellectual property. The MAHDONG name and logo are trademarks used by MahDong under license from their owner. All Site content and tile designs belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission. Buying a set gives you the right to use and resell that physical set, nothing more.

Reviews and submissions. If you post a review, photo or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Site and in our marketing, with credit where practical. You may say anything honest about us; nothing in these Terms restricts your right to publish a truthful review, including a negative one.

Disclaimer. Except as stated under "Damaged or defective items" above and any warranty that cannot be disclaimed by law, the Site and products are provided "as is."

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Some states, including California, do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Informal resolution first. If you have a problem, email support@mahdongtiles.com. Most issues are solved within a few days.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by Louisiana law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in California or another state, you keep every protection that your state's consumer laws give you and that cannot be waived by contract, including the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act.

Where disputes are heard. You may bring a claim in small claims court in your county or ours. Any other claim may be brought in the state or federal courts serving Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, or in the courts where you live if your state's law gives you that right.

Notice to California residents (Cal. Civ. Code § 1789.3). The Site and products are provided by MAHDONG TILES, LLC, 2800 Veterans Blvd, Suite 213, Metairie, LA 70002, 504-875-6457, support@mahdongtiles.com. Charges for products are as shown on the Site and at checkout; we do not charge to use the Site. To resolve a complaint about the Site or to receive further information about its use, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (916) 445-1254 or (800) 952-5210.

Privacy. How we collect, use and share your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, including the rights California residents have over their information.

Accessibility. We want everyone to be able to shop with us. If you have trouble using any part of the Site, email us and we will help you complete your order.

Other terms. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Site and your purchases.
